our story
Suavecito is a Los Angeles-based movement celebrating the vibrant energy of Latino culture. We are built by Latinos, for Latinos and friends alike.
Suavecito was born out of grief and resilience. For founder Veronica Molina, running became a lifeline while her father was in the hospital. Navigating intense pressure on the pavement, Malo’s track "Suavecito" grounded her. Following her father's passing, she saw the healing power of our culture—our music, our food, our collective joy—and knew this sanctuary belonged to the community.
Launched during the peak of the LA ICE raids, Suavecito became a safe harbor. For many, returning to their roots isn't possible due to financial, political, or safety barriers. This is a home for Latinos in LA to heal and thrive together. There is no such thing as "not Latino enough" here.
Powered by our dedicated captains, our Suavecito familia welcomes everyone. Whether you run the 3-mile loop or walk with the "Chisme Club," we pull up to claim our space in the wellness world—always putting community over competition.
